Personal Delivery

We  would like to  deliver the puppy to you personally, and in some situations, it's very possible.  If you are willing to drive  to meet us, it is less expensive for you, and in extreme weather conditions, it's easier.  We gladly meet families from Nebraska , Iowa, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas,  Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Tennessee, Kentucky, and many MORE.  Sometimes we have several people from more distant locations all inquire at the same time, so we can  make arrangements for several at once.  Please inform us of you LOCATION so we may consider arrangements and possible PERSONAL DELIVERY of Your Puppy.

Airlines/ Shipping

WE will gladly  arrange shipping of your puppy to a MAJOR airport.  We prefer American Airlines ( but use others at times ) because of their safety regulations.   We also prefer DIRECT flights ( no possible mistakes/ no transfers). We use the PRIORITY SERVICE in extreme temperatures, which protects puppies from extreme weather.

Prior to shipping, our Veterinarian will check the puppy and issue a current  HEALTH CERTIFICATE so that this puppy may leave our state legally, and the new owner is assured that the health has been certified by a veterinarian.  This is at no charge to you.

A Crate or Pet Taxi will be furnished, and will be the correct size for comfortable transport of the puppy.  Food & Water bowls (non -spill) are attached to the inside of crate so the puppy is NEVER without a drink or food.  The crate/pet taxi  is  a valuable tool in housebreaking a puppy, and will be provided at NO charge.

The Pet taxi is piled with shredded newspapers to absorb any accident that occurs.  We suggest you bring a damp cloth and a dry towel just in case you need to spot clean the puppy (we bathe the puppy the day prior to travel).

Reservations are handled by us -- you don't have to do anything but  arrive at the airport at the time of flight arrival.  It usually takes 15 - 30 minutes for the puppy to be transported to the AIR CARGO office.  You do NOT go to the passenger terminals, but to the AIR CARGO offices instead.    We give you the flight number, air bill number, and  arrival times.

Safety

In 20 years  we have NEVER had a  major complications.  A few times late flights, but NO problems with health issues or stress issues.  Puppies are like babies, and they SLEEP easily during travel.  They have fun at the airport; everyone wants to pet them, and we give them lots of exercise, so they are ready to nap when they leave.  These are the things we do to eliminate problems.

1   DIRECT FLIGHTS: this does not allow for the puppy going to the WRONG location.  We  stay with puppy until he is taken to the airplane, and you pick him up.  NO transferring flights - no problems..

2    Priority Service in extreme temperatures insure extra caution in handling a pet, and insure it stays in  regulated temperatures.  The cost is higher but SAFETY of the puppy is  our concern.

3   Caution: if a puppy  seems  too small, or  has not handled weaning well, or ANY significant  problem arises, we prefer to wait a week, rather than send a puppy out to soon.  The puppies' health and safety are our concerns.
