Joy-

We got a puppy from you in November and I wanted you to know that he is doing well.  (Our fence is not doing so well - he uses his teeth to pry fence boards off to escape from our backyard).  He is definitely full of energy and a lot of fun.  He is so smart and learns tricks easily - he can sit, shake and lay down and knows the most important trick of them all - pottying outside!  We named him Ozzie after the great St. Louis Cardinal shortstop - Ozzie Smith.

Ozzie's favorite game is "I have something you don't want me to have, now chase me".  His second favorite game is fetch.  He brings the toy back to us and then plays tug of war.  If my son hides from him, Ozzie will not stop looking until he finds him.  That is a game they both enjoy a lot.

I've attached some pictures.  As you can see, Ozzie has stayed much blacker than the typical Welsh, but we think he is very cute.  We always get comments from people who think he has the cutest face.

Ozzie is healthy and lively and will literally eat anything.  He loves any kind of food and he even chewed up and ate a plastic whiffle ball in the yard one day.  He keeps us hopping and trying to stay one jump ahead of him.

Thanks for a great puppy!

Joy, happy 4th of July.  We bought a puppy from you in January in the middle of an ice storm.  We are so happy and so pleased with "Sydney".  She is non-stop motion until the end of the day.  She is healthy and she is bright.  She's and Diane are in puppy training now and they have learned to sit, to shake hands, to lay down and to play dead.  She also walks beside us when we take her for a walk.  She plays ball endlessly and is just a loving and loveable addition to our family.  We would never hesitate to get a puppy from you again  Thanks again,

Sure you can use us as a reference and by the way I forgot to tell you that Rudy is a big talker, not barker, talker.  He doesn't  like the word no or off.  I had a trainer at the house because my schedule is so crazy and Rudy first time did a sit stay and let us walk away 5 steps and didn't move.  My trainer said he's never had that happen in all his years.  I hope to get Rudy in an agility class I think he would be awesome.  Will send pictures soon.

Hi Joy -

Thanks for the Registry and Pedigree paper - just got it today.  I guess our puppy would be the "Dam: For you of Happytails, or maybe that is her mother.  What does the red print mean - "Ch Purston Anderguden" and "Int ch Felstead French Fry of Purston"?  Are some of the dogs actually from Romania and Hungary?

I will try to attach a few pictures of our puppy -- we haven't decided on a name yet.  Either Scooter or Izzy, I think.  She is such a cutie and we surely love her.

Things have settled down since the 4th of July and we are sticking more by your schedule.  She does whine when I put her in the crate, but she will soon fall asleep.  She is eating well - both the mixture of food w/cottage cheese or yogurt and the dry food.  Our human scale says she weighed about 4 lbs. when we brought her home and now she weighs 8 lbs.  She's still slender and not at all like the other chubby one that you brought.  Hope that puppy is doing Ok -- it would have been fun to have both of them, but my husband wouldn't go along with that at all.  Our foster wheaten and Scooter/Izzy are such pals.  The foster wheaten has to watch me put Scooter/Izzy to bed and I think wonders why she doesn't sleep in the bedroom with us too.  We don't hear her whine at night now as we put her in the laundry room in the crate and close the door.  Kobi is starting to get with the "playing" just recently.  He has watched the puppies play and I guess has decided to join in.

Got to go for now.  It was so nice to meet you after all these years, since we got Kobi.  He's been a fun dog and I have learned so much in training him.  Talk to you later and thanks again for our "precious puppy".

Joy,
We are just loving the puppy.  She is wonderful -- and we've had lots of dogs to compare her to.  The larger dog in this photo (Bear) is our bouvier. As they walk in the neighborhood, they have been knick-named "Thing One and Thing Two."  This photo is about 4-5 weeks old.  I'll send you a more
current one under separate cover.  These two love each other and play all day.  Even though Bear is bigger and can play a bit rough, the puppy is
terrier tough and has no trouble holding her own with Bear.

Thanks for our great addition to the family!
Valerie
