| Thanks Joy! He has made us very happy. He is truly a delight. No accidents and slept throughout the night last night without waking up. I think he actually likes his kennel. He doesn't go in by himself yet, but we throw all his toys in there and put him in and he doesn't try to get out, and he gets a treat for being so good and then we leave the
room RIGHT AWAY. Also, when we go to get him out, we don't go right for the kennel, but instead stall a minute (wash hands, get something from the fridge) to make him think he's 2nd on the list of things to do.
We're
working on the
mouthing/nipping, just keeping
a chew thing or toy close at
hand to replace. Vet appt
tonight. I'll let you know how
that goes. Pic attached
is from Barb's house. We'll
send you some better
ones soon. Take

much part of our family. We all actually miss him while at work/school

Hi,
Joy! Just a quick
update before I head to
bed. The puppy is
doing great...seems as if
he has grown 2 inches
taller in a week! We
have named him Killian
(which is Gaelic for
"effervescent").
Our granddaughter, Lauren,
had a big time going to
the airport with us to
pick him up. She was
pretty enamored at first
sight...and so were we!!
Killian is working hard at
housebreaking and is doing
quite well actually.
He is quite consistently
coming when called and is
learning to be very
mannerly by sitting first
and waiting patiently
before diving into his
food.
We
tether him next to our bed
at night, and he is quite
content. He has not
cried at all, and in fact,
has slept through every
night except one. On
that night we just made a
quick run to the
"bathroom."
All in all, we are like
proud parents with a new
baby, and Killian seems to
be enjoying our company as
well. We have our
first vet appointment on
December 20 so that
everyone can get
"acquainted,"
and we can get on a
schedule for further
vaccinations and eventual
neutering.

Sofi
is almost a year old and she is
such a joy! I wanted to send you
a picture of her so you can see
what a beautiful dog she is.
Sofi
loves the outdoors and also
loves water. last summer she
joined me in my in ground pool
and floated around on a raft
with me. For the times I am not
in the pool I bought her a pool
just for her. She spends alot of
time in it. Sofi also loves
going to my sisters farm where
she can run and play with my
sisters two dogs.
Sofi is a very loving and smart girl, she is the best.
Joy thank you so very much for a wonderful
friend and companion.
